Party for a Purpose Makes the Holidays Bright

Nearly 100 Barona employees, tribal and family members created Holiday Stuff-A-Bags including comfort and care items, fleece blankets and Teddy Bears (made by volunteers), books, a pencil and journal, along with select toys placed in individual duffle bags for donation to foster care facilities. Volunteers made blankets, stuffed bears and puppies and handwritten holiday messages. Volunteers also decorated festive wreaths for donation to elder care facilities to brighten the season for seniors.  One young participant, Jacob (10) wrote the following about his experience…
