SAN DIEGO, CA – December 18, 2008 – Sempra Energy Foundation is the Presenting Partner of Kids Korps ECO Ball 2009 and Green Korps™ environmental initiative.  Sempra joined Kids Korps in underwriting the launch of Green Korps™ in 2007 combining volunteer members, local communities and environmental service partners in the restoration and protection of our region’s environmental resources.

Kids Korps Fundraiser takes a “verdant” twist in its ECO Ball 2009
Kids Korps USA announces a twist in its annual fundraiser for 2009 by adding a spotlight on awareness for sustainability and those contributing to making a difference in communities all over the nation.

San Diego, CA. December 2008 – The future of our planet and the future of our youth will come together in the here and now on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 from 6:30 PM to Midnight at Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall, as Kids Korps Presents ECO Ball 2009. This eco-friendly celebration will showcase the rewards of sustainable living while raising funds to support the endeavors of Kid Korps, which includes the expansion of their environmentally focused Green Korps volunteer projects.
